Call for Publications

Dear colleagues and participants at the 2017 AFSE Meeting

We open two calls for papers following the 66th International Congress of the French Economic Association-Association Française de Science Economique (AFSE).

The first call for a special issue of Revue d’Economie Politique on the “Proceedings of the AFSE Annual Meeting scheduled for the fall of 2018.

10 to 15 papers will be selected in accordance with the standard processes. Through this special issue, AFSE want to highlight the diversity and the quality of the papers which have been presented during the 2017 edition of the Association Congress.

The second call for a special issue of Economie et Statistique/Economics and Statistics is a new joint initiative of AFSE and of the Econ&Stat journal for highlighting one specific thematic each year.

This year, we decided to put the focus  on “The new challenges of globalization”. This special issues is also scheduled for the fall of 2018. 6  to 9 papers will be selected in accordance with the standard processes.

In both cases, papers (in English) must have been presented during the meeting.

For REP, submitted papers must not exceed 25 pages (including Bibliography and Appendix) + online appendix and/or Materials for Referee. For Econ&Stat, shorter papers (15 to 20 pages) with a strong policy orientation might be given a preference. However, all submissions respecting the above criteria will be considered.

Flora Bellone, Chair of the Program Committee and Philippe Aghion, Former President of AFSE, will act together as guest editors for these special issues.

If you wish to submit a paper for a possible publication in one or the other of these special issues, please send your contribution (PDF file) no later than October 16, 2016 to: afse2017@sciencesconf.org

Please indicate in your email whether you want the paper to be considered for both issues or only for one of them.

For both special issues, first decision will be notified on January 22, 2018.

Sincerely yours,
