Lunch Panels Registration

Dear Participants to the AFSE 2017 Meeting,

We will have Two Special Lunch Panels during the Meeting

Job Market Interview Coaching, on Monday 19, 12:30-1:50 pm, chaired by Antonia Lopez (GATE-LSE) with the participation of Mathilde Lemoine (Groupe Edmond de Rotchild), Philippe Aghion (College de France) and Agnes Benassy-Quere (Université Paris 1, PSE and Conseil d’Analyse Economique).

This panel aims at helping current and future Job Market PhD Candidates to “customize” their presentation for different type of Job offers (academic and non academic ones). Examples of Job offers will be circulated to the participant of the Panel right before the conference  so that they can practice during the session benefiting from the coaching of our Panelits.

PhD Programmes : Improving French Universities Competitiveness, on Wednesday, 21, 12:15-1:40 pm, Chaired by Thierry Penard (CREM) with the participation of Sebastien Lotz, Vice-Président CNED-EG, Philippe Aghion, Collège de France, Claude Diebolt, CNRS, Président de la section 37 du comité national, Dominique Torre, Co-directeur Ecole Doctorale DESPEG, UCA

This panel will offer a description of the state of PhD Programmes in Economics in France, some comparisons with other countries and will discuss how to improve the competitiveness of our Programmes in the context of the new frame of “Ecoles Universitaires de Recherche”. 

Attendance to these Lunch Panels require pre-registration  (as we have to organize the Lunch).

Place will be booked on a first come basis up to 20 participants for each panel.
